Yanukovich calls for new partnership treaty with Russia

The Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich believes his country and Russia must act on their renewed friendship by agreeing a ten-year cooperation programme and clinching a new partnership treaty, to replace the 13-year-old existing one. He told this to representatives from Ukrainian regions at a gathering in Kiev on Tuesday.
