SCO summit gets under way in Tashkent

A summit meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, or SCO, has got under way in the Uzbek capital Tashkent. Taking part are the SCO leaders, including Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The parties to the meeting will specifically focus on the situation in Kyrgyzstan, regional security, fighting drug trafficking, and also on the joint transport, energy and trade projects.
