Russia’s birthrate exceeds 428,000 in January-March

Russia’s birthrate in January-March has increased by 1.5% on the year to more than 428,000 births, Healthcare and Social Development Minister Tatyana Golikova said Friday. At the same time the mortality rate has reduced by 2% on the year, she said.
