It is described as the “largest hip-hop festival in the world” and will be bringing internationally-famous artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Future and A$ap Rocky to Praia da Rocha in Portimão this summer.
Rolling Loud is a massive American hip-hop festival that started in Miami, Florida before expanding to other American cities, having now made its way over to Europe.
Portimão will be the first European town to host the event between July 8 and 10, with Wiz Khalifa, Future and A$ap Rocky confirmed as the headliners.
Other well-known artists, such as Lil Vert Uzi and Meek Mill, are also included in the line-up.
Wiz Khalifa is an artist most people have likely heard on the radio all over the world.
‘See You Again’, which he recorded with American singer Charlie Puth, was a massive worldwide hit and was featured on the soundtrack of the 2015 action film ‘Furious 7’.
The song spent 12 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the US Billboard Hot 100, tying Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” for the second longest-running rap number-one single in the country behind Lil Nas X & Billy Ray Cyrus’ ‘Old Town Road’. It also topped the UK Singles Chart for two consecutive weeks.
