Messines fatal stabbing – suspect held

A man has been arrested and held on suspicion of stabbing a 19-year-old male, resulting in his death.

The 20-year-old is the only suspect in the homicide.

In a statement, the Faro Public Prosecutor’s Office reports that, “there is suspicion that the defendant, during an argument discussion, stabbed the victim in the chest, a 19-year-old man, causing his death.”

The attack happened at midnight on Thursday in São Bartolomeu de Messines.
