BRUSSELS – The authorities in Brussels will search the city’s Greenpeace office on Thursday after a complaint from Electrabel about a demonstration against nuclear power in October.
The environmental organisation reported this on Thursday. About 15 militant Greenpeace members were arrested on 27 October after a demonstration in front of Electrabel’s social relations office on the Regentlaan in Brussels.
Electrabel has filed a complaint against the organisation for forming a gang, Greenpeace says. The environmental organisation pointed out that the demonstration was a peaceful protest and that no property was damaged.
