BRUSSELS – The fugitive chief suspects behind the spectacular shipment of 45 tonnes of hashish intercepted in the Antwerp port last month seem to be playing games with the investigators of the federal police.
They recently sent a playful holiday snapshot to the officers, presumably from Thailand.
Paul M. (44), suspected to be the brain behind the enormous operation, cut the electronic ankle band police were using to keep track of him at the end of February and fled abroad with a number of gang members.
