BRUSSELS — On 28 February everyone in Brussels can park for free, De Standaard reports. The city is celebrating 50 years since the creation of cartoon character Guust Flater by Andre Franquin.
Those drivers who still want to put some coins in the parking meter won’t have their money wasted.
All the money collected from parking will go to the Koningin Fabiola children’s hospital.
