AMSTERDAM — The number of Dutch people who regularly go nude in public is increasing.
The Dutch Naturist Federation (NFN) said on Friday about 1.9 million Dutch people occasionally opt to go nude.
The latest figures are compared with 1.5 million nudists two years ago, an NFN spokesman said.
Most of the 80 NFN-affiliated naturist associations will hold an open day on Sunday.
There are some 18,000 registered association members and 52,000 donors.
The majority of nudists are not officially members of any organisation. They visit nudist beaches, backyards and nature areas.
